Everything have run slowly due to the current SARS-CoV-2 situation worldwide, but today we are able to update DreadOut 2 to version 1.1.3.

As stated before, this update contains some minor bug fixes and the most part are adding the Chinese, Russian and Bahasa (Indonesia) subtitles and Chapter Selection.

DreadOut 2 Version 1.1.0 Update

Hello everyone,

We have an update to further eliminate many game breaking - showstopper - bugs you have reported.

SaveGame Notice: Your old savegame supposed to be okay. You can load your previous savegame slot and reach at least one checkpoint to update your savegame to a new one. If some bug still appeared please report to us.

This update also contains a major change in term of Achievement trophy, where we removed BURIK achievement as we have told you in previous DreadOut 2 Version 1.0.1 Update patch notes. The BURIK (an anagram of RUBIK) was a Rubik's cube player needs to solve with its pieces arranged to show 'H' on all of its six faces as a sign of Happiness in Digital Happiness :)

Alas, it just brings headache to all of us, both the solver and the game (as some of you might have experienced it was occasionally missing in the level and shown back upon reloading checkpoint).

We do not have an exact answer as to why it happened so randomly except that it possibly related to the collision and numerical stability of the game engine, hence we removed it completely (both the cube and the achievement).

The version is bumped to 1.1.0 from 1.0.1 because of this incompatibility. Hope you all understand.

• Tweaking unfair Tiger's turn-while-on-air attack.

• Changed some voice overs that are missleading.
• Changed some BGM on some levels to help streamers avoiding copyright claim in their contents. We did have the license to all of the musics used in DreadOut 2, but the streamers might be not, hence they'll possibly receive the copyright claim.

Known Bugs:

• Ghostpedia entries are sometimes missing when reloading the game, we are still investigating this.
• The BURIK (an anagram of RUBIK) is occassionally missing but still interactable in the level, we decided to remove it altogether in the next update since it is not related to the story and just bring headache to all of us, pun intended :)

Can you send us your savegames? it's located in your DreadOut2 install directory under a folder named Cloud. The file extension is *.do

Please send to [e-mail] with subject "[DO2 Bug] <bug description>", please describe the bug in the email body, and attach your savegames in the e-mail.
