wow, and part 2?
hi sorry i just wanted to post about how much i fell in love with this game. It was amazing and way too much effort was put into this game for it to just end up being free, the story, the characters, the design, i loved it all. The game felt like the right amount of challenge, but i never felt like i was stuck or in a situation that i could not handle, i just needed to try again.
are there any updates for the part 2?

Messaged them in Jan 2019 about this exact question and they replied there will be. Just over 3 years later now, lets see if it comes :)

Hi everyone, my name's Mike and I was best friends with Julio, who designed the game. I am incredibly saddened to say, but unfortunately Julio passed away last summer

There were plans to work on The Perfectionist 2 after completing a different game in between called Inner Darkness. (The Perfectionist 2 would've dealt with the Professor's son, Phrancis, getting revenge on everyone)

After working on a demo, Julio decided to turn Inner Darkness into a comic book, which is what he was working on when he passed. If you're interested, the demo for Inner Darkness can be found here

and the comic that was made of Inner Darkness can be found, for free, here

If you do choose to donate the money will go towards a charity close to Julio's heart, the Rainforest Action Network

Again, I am so sorry to have to tell you this way about Julio's passing, but I know he loved the community and would have been so delighted to see so many people enjoying his passion and his art

Mike I am so sorry for your loss, his passion will live on as people discover this game. Thank you for the links and best wishes. (one of the links were redacted btw)
