From there you should be able to find it OK, might be in an THQ subfolder, can't remember.
Is there a new application I have to use to start it up or something?
Isn't appearing in game manager
So that's where I'm at
If you mean something else, then I am very interested in what. It may be the solution!
Update: just re downloaded the mod and extracted the files again with no success. Also tried dragging and dropping the mod folder onto the SoulStorm application which brings up a message, 'open with Soulstorm' but that didn't work either.
- Download Winrar. It is a program.
- Download the Mod file from here http://www.gamefront.com/files/service/thankyou?id=23382170
- Make sure you have the latest patch for SoulStorm. If your SoulStorm was refusing to download the lastest patch like mine, uninstall the game entirely and download it off steam with your cd key.
- When the Mod file has finished downloading, (it will be just under a gig) right click it and click on extract files. It will be the first option of three.
- A folder containing the extracted mod files will then appear whereever the downloaded Winrar file was. Ie. If it was in downloads, the extracted files will also be in downloads.
- Now find where Soulstorm is installed.
-Go to my computer or whatever. In the search bar just put Soulstorm and then from the results, open the one that is located in your steam files.
-IMPORTANT, paste the CONTENTS of the extracted files folder into your Soulstorm Folder.
-DO NOT just paste in the whole mod folder in. Open it up, and copy/paste what is inside to the Soulstorm folder. The files inside the mod folder need to be with the Soulstorm files. So If you drag and drop the whole mod folder, you will do nothing.
Now click on the application you would normally use to run SoulStorm and start it up. In the boot up, it should say Dawn of War Soulstorm Titanium Wars right after the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ intro movie. It will also display on the main page under the Soultstorm text. Go to game manger and select Titanium Wars. It will then make you rstart the game and you are good to go.
For more help, follow these instructions. But remember to paste the CONTENTS of the extracted mod folder into the SoulStorm folder and not the whole folder. That's where this guy messed me up.
