Dawn Of War 40K (no matter which release) has no workshop which is where mods are meant to be discussed. THIS is the actual game forum. I can help you wish anything you wish about the game as it is downloaded and installed through Steam.
It is YOUR choice if you wish to download, install, and use mods as they are allowed for the game, but where you got it is where you need to ask support as once you do, it no longer has anything to do with DoW on Steam.
IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE WITH FILES FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE, go to that somewhere else to get the needed help. That is why they have a hosting site for the mod. I am sorry if they are no longer active and have abandoned their work, but they are who needs to be helping you. ANYTHING I do to help is likely to break the game from launching unless you completely remove and delete remnants to install clean again to the point I can help you.
Mods should go into their own separate folders and not affect the main game at all. Mod manager then just points to that folder.
For certain beyond a loading screen change, unification lives happily in it's folder. As far as I know, crucible is the same, so it's safe. Other mods I can't say for sure, but should all act the same way
I am sorry, but you are starting to see Steam Rules enforced. It took my ruining two different US State Attorney General political careers to get it to begin after a school shooter was TRAINED to violate rules and be violent by Steam Moderators.
I did say. You are the only one here breaking community guidelines.
Next time just help, or don't get involved rather than writing an essay, whilst selectively picking the guidelines you like the look of, it will help everyone in the long run.
Just be better .
Who died and made you lord of this forum?
Get over yourself, people are allowed to discuss Dawn of War Soulstorm topics in the Dawn of War Soulstorm forum.
You're not helping anyone but your own overinflated ego.
Edit: Also, an existing workshop is not necessary to talk about mods; there is nothing in the forum rules that forbid to talk about mods, at least in the spanish ones. If the english ToS have such a rule, the english ToS are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
