Do you need winter assault, dow, and dark crusade?

Meaning if you just wanna play skirmish or online do you need the other xpansions installed? Soul storms cool, and the online works well. I don't care about this series campaign, just like playing skirmish and online. Tried to slog through the original dow campaign and it was terribly boring and the story was pretty generic (space marine fight chaos and ork).

Winter assault wasn't any more interesting in fact it felt even more boring. The campaigns in the other games look like that really dull galactic conquest mode in star wars battle front. I'm just not interested in these campaigns, only wanna play skirmish with all the armies so getting rid of these previous games to free up space would be nice. Unless soulstorm needs them to pull assets or something into ss.

No. Soulstorm does it all online.

You only need the other games for the other races to be unlocked in multiplayer, other than that it is a stand alone game

Yea I uninstalled them and made some free space, its good that the individual xps unlock armies gives a legitimate reason to collect all the games.
