Anyone download Unification mod from ModDb?

I haven't ever downloaded any mods from ModDb and I was worried about possible viruses. If anyone has downloaded the unification mod, could you tell how it went. Any issues down the line?

Unification is perfectly safe to download and install. They do have options of whether to install using an installer, or manually by drag and dropping files. They have install instructions for both methods.

Installer method is very easy, all you need to do really is tell the installer where to install it, for example, F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Soulstorm is what I would tell the installer to install the files to. Its simple and easy. Manual installation has a couple extra steps but it is equally as easy.

not true actually. maybe like 3 to five days ago, someone uploaded a file called unification 7.0 patch. It has long since been taken down, but Kek (Daiymo of Uni) had to make a psa saying that there was no such thing as 7.0 patch.

This is the only link that will have legit unification. Anything that masquerades as uni 7.0 or the mod is not safe.

There ARE some submods for uni that are safe, such as Redux UI for Uni.

I installed it to the Soulstorm directory but it will not activate.

You have to start the mod using Mod Manager.

Click on Mod Manager and then choose Mod.
Then click START.

This is all done with Mod Manager.
You cannot start mod outside of the mod manager utility.

Open ZIP.
Look inside folders.
Dow Mod Manager
Latest Stable
take the Dow Mod Manager.exe
Drop in folder in Steam -this location
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War II - Retribution
Click on this exe,
This will start a Utility
Make sure to look at these options,
In top middle options click toggle LAA (to make it green colour)
THEN
click on Unification on bottom left hand side
Click on Green START on top right hand side
Enjoy MOD ,it will load for a little first.

This is a good mod by the way.
I suggest to have both this mod I suggest and the Unification Mod as well.
If the Discord shows you how to install UA you should be good to go to install Unification as well.

I think the step you missed is the step about the Mod Manager Utility I tried to explain to you in my last post.

Is there another discord server for the unification mod? Because Discord keeps telling me it doesn't exist and I am very new to modding and need the clearest of step by step instructions to figure this out.
