What hex to change to allow more ram
My buddy and I keep runing into crash issues even after the 4gb patch. I downloaded a hex editor to change the ram allowed for the game to hopefully stop the crashing but don't know what to change. Does anyone know what hex to change to give the game more than 4gb of ram?
I have 64gb of ram so its not a issue

It's not that simple. You would have to obtain source code or decompile the whole soustorm engine, then recompile it to 64bit.

It won't be. The GOG website does not have access to the game source code.

perhaps they've asked for it, the game has been set as "coming soon" for like a year now on gog
there is a software known as: LAA (Large Adress Aware, iirc) that allows games to use additional ram, I have used it on both DC and SS and it works fine.

LAA only allows 32-bit program to use up to 4 GB of RAM memory, instead of 2. It does NOT allow it to use more than 4 GB.
