Unification mod

I just started a new campaign as the Necrons and my first battle against the Eldar I can't actually play, it's 2 AI participating and the player(me) immediatly spawned in spectator mode and can't do anything but to watch. How can I fix this?

What? To get the mod to work? Or to get the issue? Me getting the issue, I have no idea, I just installed the mod using mod manager for dawn of war. I just loaded it up and wanted to play the campaign with the added units and first battle it happened.

i keep getting error at the end of the match i followed every step im just confused

I just downloaded the mod from mod db and I extracted the zip/rar file into the game folder and went onto the mod manager(the application or .exe file of the manager needs to be in the game folder in order to use it) and make sure that it is installed and then play mod. Also I don't use the Unification mod manager, I use the DoW mod manager.

the worst it usually happen on my final assault to ai base its like the AI refuse to lose to me and crash the game

for now i just use the Unification mod manager to load the based game so at least i still have the zoom out camera and slightly better graphic

Yeah, I still can't find out why the game does that. Maybe the is for multiplayer only and if you do the campaign the game doesn't know what to do so it does the battles for you, but you still move and attack neighbouring provinces. I had that happen to me once before, but that was on Dark Crusade. So I think that if I want to do the campaign, I'll just do it in vanilla.

That is not normal for Unification at all. Sounds like you might have something off in the Campaign Configurator (Unification Bugfix Folder) or your Autoexec file, if you have one. Might need a reinstall at worst.

Is that with the Tau Stronghold by any chance. If so that was a known issue with previous versions, and was fixed in 6.9.25. Can also sometimes happen if EnableCampaignBases is on in the configurator.

i gave up with the mod anyway im happy with the base game with camera mod and improve AI mod

No, it was a fresh start as the Necrons and I attacked the level 1 Eldar province and the AI took control and I was spectating in fast forward, so no idea why.

you have to do this anyways to disable dev mode

Only time compression I know of comes from an autoexec file in the soulstorm folder, or when watching a replay.

It could be campaign configurator problem, but interesting that no one else has ever seen this issue before. Puzzling.
