Offical Patches?
I heard that there were some Offical Patches for Dawn of War Soulstorm. The Current Build I have when I Boost up the Straight game is 1.0. Is it true there are other versions/updates? I'm asking because the moddb pages I've found that have downloads for said patches say that they have Trojan Viruses attached to them. I'm mainly wanting to be safe LoL

The Steam version is automatically updated to the latest version - no patches required.

So I Take it that No Offical Patches were ever a thing. As my Soulstorm build says that It's 1.0

Think there were 3 in total... Certainly 1.20 was the biggest but I think they made a small patch...but that might have been steam only to fix GameSpy and add that map.

So what about version 1.20 now? Steam obviously does NOT patch this game to its latest version and won't ever do it.
Whenever I'm trying to patch the steam version 1.0 to 1.10 > 1.20, the updater says "unrecognized version" and aborts.

No, seriously. The Steam version has everything from 1.1 and 1.2, plus some additional stuff for Steamworks and an extra skirmish/multiplayer map.

Look in the top-left of the main menu when you load it up. It should say "DOW Engine 1.3.3107742". This is the actual version number. Ignore the bit further to the right where it says "DOW Soulstorm 1.0" - that's just referring to the mod you're currently using.
