Is Baneblade good?
In the lore this Baneblade is ultimate weapon that can crush even enemy Titans. But in the game... meh.

His HP is good, no doubt, but he does just moderate damage to vehicles and infantry. Not bad at all, but IMHO for THAT kind of super weapon this is unacceptable.

So, does Banelade really suck or it's just me?

It's more of a building leveller than a troop destroyer

Well, pretty moderate damage to buildings as well, doesn't look like a siege tank

More of the 'tank' style of tank. Use it to soak while everything else kills stuff. It did feel pretty average in terms of damage output.

Lorewise baneblades can be equipped in various ways to be effective against various targets. Even an "anti-titan" equipped Baneblade would have trouble in a head-to-head fight with the walking incarnations of the machine god and would need to ambush, but that's off-topic. That's not even delving into defining how many different versions of "enemy Titans" there are.

Speaking completely in the blind, the DoW Baneblade is likely a "default" configuration, meant to dominate infantry, heavy infantry, and light vehicles, which it very much does. It is meant to be supported by *at least* infantry, and *most likely* other vehicles, not sent out on it's own. It has a lot of guns, so it kills a lot of stuff at once.

It's all about how you're playing it. Lore-wise, yeah, Baneblades are really good. But notice that they're never alone. They're ALWAYS accompanied by something else. Whether it's IG, SP, other tanks, Thunderhawk support, Baneblades always have something else with them.

I find it to be possibly the best relic unit in the game, just be sure to have it supported.

Baneblade is easily in the top 3 relic units. Just don't send it alone some little support be it tech priest repairs, psyker machine curse. Lemans help with anti vehicle and Assassin will help vs the big demon units.

baneblade demolishes everything , it is easily the best relic unit in the game... but like said it also needs to be supported according to the situation
