DOW-SoulStorm won't install on Windows 10 Surface Pro
Whether I launch setup.exe from Windows Explorer as a regular user or as administrator, it appears to fail on
C:\..\THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm\DXP2\DXP2Data.sga, then displays an error message box:
Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT._ComponentTransferData

Any ideas?

Right click setup.exe and go to properties > compadimility

You might want to try XP service pack 2 or set to administrator
