What is Marine Armor actually made of?

Surely they can't fight with armor made out of thick steel. Is it some kind of power armor or something?

I'm going to assume you mean the Space Marines? Space Marine armour is infact power armour, and is made of ceramite, a metal used in important armour which conducts little to no heat.

I see, thanks for clearing that up, I was beginning to wonder why they run around in huge metal armor. Had a feeling they had to have something to power that up.

Power Armor mk.VII if I'm not mistaken. The most common one. Chaplain armor is mk.III(I think).

But I SUCK at these Mon'Keigh / Gue'la things. ugh Why so complicated? Why not be orderly like Eldar or Tau?

The power pack is the backpack looking thing with the side vents. :)

tau is orderly whith their xv-88 87 64 56 94 ...? and you complain about the humans have 10 versions well 9 because mark 9 was never made and actually 8 sinse there was definatly no mark 10 during DoW

only the assault marines, they have bigger backpacks that are also jetpacks
