Ultimate Apocalypse with only Soulstorm (with all Races unlocked)
So I know that I won't have all races without the other expansion packs. But since UA has a race unlock and adds content and so on I was wondering wether or not u would have all the races in UA, even if you only had Soulstorm and not Vanilla DoW with the other expansions.
Anyone who has only Soulstorm and plays with the Ultimate Apocalypse mod? Do you have all the races unlocked?

Yes it does. before I bought all the dawn of war games on steam, I owned a copy of soul storm only as a non-steam disk. Using UA I managed to play as all the races in skirmish.
Mind you I don't know about multiplayer.

Well I don't know why it wouldn't work with multiplayer, guess I'll just have to find out now

in skirmish you have all factions playable but for MP you would need a mod but I'm not sure if it's already included in UA

you mean the race unlock right? That already is needed so that the extra races can be played. But I don't know wether or not that also works for the races given from the base game.

If you want to play Ultimate Apocalypse but only have Soulstorm, you get all the factions in skirmish. If you want to play multiplayer, you'll only have access to Dark Eldar, Sisters of Battle, and - if you have the relevant mods downloaded - Daemon Hunters, Chaos Daemons and Tyranids. For the other seven factions in multiplayer you'll need to install Dawn of War (Space Marines, Orks, Chaos Marines, Eldar), Winter Assault (Imperial Guard) and Dark Crusade (Tau, Necrons).

Or use a race unlocker
