Uhhhmmm being friends with the shop keepers can give a really small bonus on selling things. I guess you should be able to find treasures and stuff too, especially if you get the ship running but not sure how fast you can get that.
I'm kind of past all that stuff already.
Well I know I'm not lying, just not sure if this is enough to help you, or accurate enough but it should be.
Thanks, I will try to look around though its pretty much empty most of the times. I started the gam without any coins or whatsoever. I thought it was normal lmao maybe I have a bugged save. Ill also try to make another save~
Pieces of Drake are standard currency, which you can rarely find in containers, and earn by undertaking quests and selling goods and loot. You'll need lots of Pieces of Drake for buying ammunition and other items.
Guild Drakes are a "chit" currency used within the guilds, including the Hunter's Guild that the player is a member of. These are used to recruit experienced sailors to your crew, and to buy goods from certain specific traders, not not much else. Currently, you can only acquire Guild Drakes by capturing wild anthros and selling them to the Hunter's Guild. The only currently available means of converting Guild Drakes into Pieces of Drake is through one specific character living in Kirhaal; talk to other NPCs, and some will eventually give you information on where and when to find this character.
As for earning Pieces of Drake, explore the countryside, and be on the lookout for chests, boxes, and other such containers, and you'll eventually end up with lots of loot. As noted above, you can also earn them by doing odd jobs for characters in Kirhaal. Once you have a seaworthy ship, you can also explore Kizan and Iskaii to find more loot, and you'll find tons of it in randomly-appearing floating patches of debris.
In short, it's pretty easy yo acquire a lot of money in Hunt & Snare. It just takes time, and you need to know the above tricks. Though bear in mind that as the game evolves, some or all of this advice might not be useful anymore.
On that note- I wish the clothing was more easily attainable considering the game naturally has an emphasis on cosmetic appeal and you start with... nothing. lol
