Can't complete crab quest

After gathering 5 of the 6 crabs, Ophelia offered me the sixth one, which I staunchly refused. She said she'd give it to whatsherface quest-giver girl later, but when I went to talk to that one, she said I haven't collected them all yet. The Crabdar says there are no more crabs around. Speaking to Ophelia again does not offer any option to talk about the crab again and accept it. I don't see how the quest can be completed now. May be a glitch?

On a side note, when choosing the [database] option to learn more about other girls with Ophelia, the text is extremely small and hard to read. The information panel only takes up a small amount of the screen. Please make it larger.

Only 6 crabs exist, if you refuse Ophelia's you can't complete the quest. Just talk to Faranne to abort an move on.

I see. May I suggest changing the dialogue then? The way Ophelia says she'll give the crab later suggests that the quest will be completed anyway if you go back to Faranne, so players might waste time going back and forth between the two characters. Thanks.

Agreed, it feels very.... unsatisfying? To have basically locked yourself out of this, especially when you have no way of giving her five crabs and telling her where the sixth one is.

I really like how Redamz made this quest, giving a real consequence if you don't accept the crab

On the other hand the quest occurs very early in the game story, so it's easy to just start a new game, do the quest, get Faranne's sex scene, and it should be added to the galery forever even if you don't save the new game and just go back to your old one. So there's that.

I wish I could find 1 crab,,, the radar just gives all direction and now and again one goes red but I hit the warning about going out of village... No crabs anywhere

That's very strange. I didn't have any problems using the crabdar. You have to select the app and then left-click for the radar to activate once the phone's in your hand, are you doing this? If all else fails, try starting the game again and see if it's fixed, it should be pretty fast to do and you won't lose barely any progress.

Crabs should be hidden near several buildings in the village.

I did all that and even went and spoke to the bot just to see if I missed anything... I will Restart a new game and see what happens,, thanks

Just re-installed as I still had issues,,, Forever lead my out the village

And I just restarted the game and did the crab quest again without any issues... Try looking for the crabs manually and see what happens. There is one on the second floor of Faranne's food shop, for instance.

Ok,, thanks,,, It is strange,, I dropped my vid to 1600 and turned off HDR just to see if it helped

I suggest to mark the refuse-option black, as that choice disables a gallery scene. Also it is possible to destroy the collected crabs.
