Thanks for asking :)
We would have liked to create more content for the game, but it hasn't been enough of a commercial success to warrant for the cost of porting this content to consoles.
If the game suddenly becomes famous, and if our publisher gives us the greenlight, we would then be in position to create more content, but this is rather not likely.
No sequel is planned so far - as the game is not well known enough to warrant one.
The game did ok, but could have done a lot better compared to other titles from the same publisher.
Maybe it'll be a hidden gem, who knows.
By no means am I trying to knock the existing content because it's definitely fun but it's crazy to me that there were only 2 substantial updates for this game. It had so much potential for real.
This game is terrific, add I just came across it the other day. Haven't heard of it since then.
This game has everything it needs to become a mass-appeal, high volume selling game. I would suggest that the marketing & dev teams work with each other to come across some content that might make some cash flow.
I would be willing to support this game if it needs more content. You guys have basically everything you would need to make a highly successful game, other than the fact that no one has heard about it and there isn't enough content to return to in order to continue a cyclical purchasing cycle between friends and acquaintances.
Bought my friend a copy, and will likely buy more. If I had a few spare $400K lying around, I'd invest in this game. You guys did everything right here. Awesome game!
Reading this makes my day :)
We're definitely open to making new content, but T17 doesn't think it's viable as of now.
Let's hope they see your message and this convinces them.
Sound, graphics, complexity, appeal, depth & fun ratio, repeatability - interesting mechanics and designs. Seriously, it's all there. I think if it had a bit more work in expanding the game's overall width of content and a few bug fixes, combined with some revenue building DLC's and small micro-purchases... seriously, this game is 99.5% of the way away from being a huge success. It just needs some notoriety! It's really an awesome game!
I am sure I'll come back to this game for years. You did a stellar job with this game! It's only 1 cash infusion away from becoming incredibly successful. I mean it!
