By decorating the shacks, in that case the one of Fritz you will unlock useful perks that will help you also with fishing.
The difficult once are the tentacles.
Cheers,
Flo from rokaplay
I will forwar this I know it can be really difficult to catch them.
How did you like i so far? Please leave us a review with your thoughts :)
Cheers,

Merci.
I like to fish but it is true that it is more difficult and as you read, I fell unconscious.
on the other hand I love cooking in this game, I would like not to have any limit for food, I see that some places will be left in the inventory, but it will always be limited to a certain quantity, because sometimes it is necessary feed the monkeys that you meet .... and when you have to explore the islands, for the moment I have 4 dishes prepared for me to leave.
Other questions Will there be animals to look after? cows? hens? sheep? horses?
Sorry for my English, I am writing to you with a language translator.
Thank you.
You will care late rin the game more food with you and by unlocking more recipes you will have the chance to cook meals with a higher level, which means you´ll gain more energy back. Some of them will also have different buffs to help manage your energy.
Until now farm animals are not planed, I am sorry for that but I will forward your idea :)
Cheers,
Flo
you´ll have the chance to get fish on another way. Just have a look into in our sneak peek. The tentacles can be catched but you need to do 3 stars pulls only :)
Cheers,
Flo
This has been an extremely easy and forgiving game in every other respect. It's impossible to get stuck, you don't get punished for passing out, you don't get punished for trying to make incorrect gifts, your crew happiness will progress even if you serve pure corn stew forever (it just goes slower), and the fights against the pirate ghosts can be won without any buffs by just running in circles and timing your strikes right. Nothing in this game provides any sort of challenge, not even a mild one - the entire game presents itself as a beautiful world built to relax in, not to challenge the player. In fact, the very first line in the game's store text advertises it as a _casual_ adventure.
And then there's the _ridiculous_ difficulty spike that the tentacles pose. While everything else can be done without any buffs, the tentacles seem impossible even with the strongest fishing buffs available. And the developer doesn't seem to understand the problem with this massive imbalance, and tells his players (smiling) that the tentacles _can_ be caught ... the players _just_ need to pull off a feat (several consecutive perfect pulls) that is impossible for many. Great.
I don't think you're actually trying to lampoon your players (although your response could definitely be read that way) and are just severely out of touch with the players' experience. But unfortunately that's not much better, as it doesn't sound likely that the issue will actually be addressed.
It's a shame. This has been such a beautiful, relaxing, upbeat game until I ran into this massive difficulty spike. And actually I'm usually fine with not being able to do everything in other games - but in this case I do find it aggravating, because the game consistently (for 20+ hours) presented itself as one to relax in, before then breaking its own design philosophy.
I can understand the frustation about catching the tentacles and I´ll forward it to the devs! I am very sorry that it feels so unbalanced and we are always trying to implement as much feedback as possible into our game.
Thank you for this feedback!
Cheers,
Flo from rokaplay
Additionally, I turned the sound off and focused solely on the ripples in the water. Turning the sound off actually helped because the "splash" sounds that followed my own clicks, as well as the "shrieks" that come together with the red exclamation mark, kept messing up my rhythm.
I _do_ still think that the difficulty of the tentacles is out of balance with the rest of the game and especially with it being advertised as a casual adventure, and I still think that changing this part would be an improvement to the game. But I'm less frustrated now. ;)
I agree, fishing takes too much energy! Really, fishing is supposed to be a relaxing activity in the real world! So it seems strange that reeling in something costs so munch energy. Actually, the only time in the game where I pass out, EVER, is fishing.
Otherwise I like the game okay! Was glad to see improvement in the speed of walking.
Thank you Flo from rokaplay!
