Bug: Repair the rudder.

So, I clicked on the rudder recipe to checked what's needed, went to craft the missing planks and it turned out the broken rudder parts simply disappeared.
Kinda gamebreaking...

Hi Fumiko,
do you remember the exact steps you took before the rudder disappeared?
Something along the lines of ...
- Enter crafting menu
- Select rudder blueprint
- Select Wooden Planks Blueprint

This could help me in reproducing and fixing the issue much quicker.

Workbench > rudder blueprint > saw missing stuff so closed the blueprint > crafted planks > broken rudder parts gone.

Hope that helps. And let me know if you think it can be fixed by some sort of patch or do I have to start over again

Also suggestion - make the game do a few separate saves so in case of stuff like this one can load earlier one.

What exactly do you mean by "closed the blueprint"? Did you just select another blueprint (e.g. the one for the wooden planks) or did you completely close the crafting menu?
Also, were you playing with a controller or with mouse & keyboard?

Unfortunately, as of right now, you would have to start over since the game cannot restore lost quest items.

Afair I did select another blueprint. And I'm playing with mouse & keyboard.

This exact same thing happened to me on the iOS port. Selected planks and the rudder fragments disappeared. I'm screwed.
