You can't say NetEase without saying greedy monetization, this is a hype killer... I warn you, they will monetize it Activision/EA style... Don't get overhyped

It's a good concept but it will probably be a "Gacha" game

I just hope it won't be like that but it will be

have been playing netease games in the past... if you think they will be good boiz this time, you are delusional... the game will be free to play with stupid microtranactions for example, outfits that give you stats, level up potions and ♥♥♥♥ like that...

i for one am very hyped because ive seen gameplay and gameplay looks amazing. i'll base my hype off actual footage and not off past games

you have seen the gameplay, ok... not the monetization and the grind yet, it can be the best game in the world, but, if they do anything in their power tho succ all money they can from you, welp... they can keep their game and go to hell

I came here with the same doubt as OP,

Steam developers page won't explain a thing about Developer and Publisher background, you need to look out from their past work and critical reception from the players who actually played their games and so far it has been what OP described.

Netease started from PC, making mmos like Fantasy Westward journey online, its rarely heard in the west, but its a huge money maker for them. Its one of the top grossing games every month even today, even though the game was released over a decade ago. And they have involved in making an publishing other pc games before as well

To be fair they already have a fair amount of skins (a lot were added in the Christmas event) and none of them are monetized in any way, it's all tied to game achievements like killing a boss or such.
