English subtitle ?

Hi sorry, we may add a subtitles option, but it would change the whole gameplay experience, so we'd consider it seriously.

I didn't know there is no english subtitles, so i just submit "steam" a rebate claim . It's too bad.
I think there is a little minority of french people able to play in english without subtitles.

If there is one game in my (fairly large) Steam library that I wouldn't ask about subtitles for, it's this one. Making out what the characters say is part of the gameplay, it's deliberately hard in some scenes. Providing subtitles would give the players a different experience than the developer intended.

I understand why you're asking for them, and I understand that having no subtitles may limit the game's appeal, but I also understand why the developers may not want to compromise their artistic vision in this way.

I agree.

This is a game that tests your listening skills the way HOP games test your visual skills or platforming games test your reflexes.

Subtitles would take away the major unique idea the game is built around and not give you the same experience.

However, if the developers want to implement an easy mode by offering that as a feature, that's certainly up to them.

I agree that you would pick up names far more easier when fast forwarding. Since listening is all this game is about, having no subtitles is the way to go.
