Windows 7: Mouse pointer moves to upper edge/upper left corner
Have installed Jamestown on two PCs (my stationary and laptop), both running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.
On both machines, Jamestown launches fine, but reaching the main menu the mouse immediately starts moving up (laptop) or up and left (Stationary) - and keeps moving up / up-left when trying to navigate, making it impossible to play the game.
No xbox controller available, so can't verify if that works.

Trawled through the forum and google'ed but to no avail; anyone got any suggestions - or experiencing the same as the game unfortunately is unplayable for me at the moment.

Am I seriously the ONLY person with this issue (on 2 different machines)?

Having the exact same problem - ALT+TAB does not work.

My stationary PC had a Saitek x52 joystik installed. Unplugging it seems to have fixed the problem.

If you have a joypad, joystick or similar where the deadzone may not be "completely dead", try unplugging and see if it fixes the problem for you.

Not sure why this keeps happening on my laptop though as there is no joypad etc plugged in.

Aha...this was on an Arcade Cabinet (basically a PC), and it was a keyboard-to-joystick mapping tool (VJoy) that was causing it. Uninstalled and all is well.

Confirmed. The problem is caused by VJoy. If you do not want to uninstall it, go to "Computer Management", select "Device Manager" and disable "VJoy Virtual Joystick" in section "Human Interface Devices"
