A typing game where you just use one hand?
What kind of idea was this, a typing game that uses the left hand for the words and the right hand for the arrow keys? Instead having both hands on the keys constantly.
Am I missing something here? But this feels totally off compared to other typing games like Typing of the Dead.

Hold left shift and move with WASD. Or rebind it for IJKL like I did.

There's a lot of anime games on steam these days where people type using only one hand. Just think of this game as practice for that.

Yeah, seems kinda silly to me, kinda defeats the purpose IMO.
I tried that Shift WASD..but that gets confusing very fast. Funneling movement commands in between the typing by holding down shift is too hard for me.

Think of it like this: you use both hands for typing. If you need to dodge bullets, hold Shift so that you can use WASD for that, without even moving your hands . I think all in all the system works fine

While you hold shift you can still type all the other letters that are not ASDW while moving. Doesn't work with numbers.

Im Playing with a Controller and the Stick for movement in the left hand while typing with the right hand. Works well too and is quite an interesting new gaming experience for me. ;)

Any hiccups with using a controller and keyboard at the same time?

ive only done a few stages so far but it seems like you get a bit of time between attacks to type as much of the exorcism as you can.

I feel like the best way to play this game is to treat it as a local multiplayer game, with one player focusing on the dodging and the second player doing the typing

Not as much as I can tell. I thought there were some at first, but it was just me moving out of range for the incantations. ;)
