Own truck

When I can buy my own truck ?
What I have to do it ?

Hi Scarven. As far my progress went in this game - there is still no option to do so. You can only choose truck and driver in quick race mode or multiplayer OR - in career mode (after making license) you can make your own driver (where you make your own first name and second name, choose gender, choose helmet colour) and then you sign contract on one weekend choosing from available trucks (those trucks are not available to see, but you only see different contracts). When you done your first season - in the second one you can sign one contract for the whole season - and different contract have different truck. My favourite truck is orange-white Iveco from the Schwaben Truck team or this other blue-white Iveco from other team.

So it does not seem that you can buy a truck. You can only upgrade and repair parts in second season. But this feature have a bug in my case, and I do not know how to repair it - my problem is that brakes do not deteriorate, even when I have full damage in the options turned on (there is other 'options' menu in career mode, which you can access by pressing a button (in my case "Y" on my xbox pad). To be more precise it work only in practice session and qualifying before race, and then it is not working any longer. It only works, when I go out of current race to the main menu, change something in the options menu, and go back to the race. And it still works two times - two race sessions, and then it is not working again. Let me know if you have this same bug, or it is only in my case. You can see that brakes deteriorate soon after starting the race/qualifying etc. and percentages on the HUD goes from 100% to 99% and below. And when brakes are heated over 500 Celsius degrees deteriorating becomes faster. Have a nice game.

Hello! sorry to jump in with sort of off-topic question, but how do you start the second season?? I've now finished the first season in both Championships. But after this nothing happens. The calendar doesn't update, no new contracts...

You must start new champions and then You can chose sponsoring from all season.

I do not remember exactly, but maybe you have to enter to "Contract/View Contract" (or something called similarly) section in the ETRC/World Series ("square" on the bottom right of menu) and then sign a new - full season contract.

Is your problem solved already or not? Please respond either way.

UPDATE: I think I had a bug, because this time the game calendar updated instantly to the start of the new season and I saw the contract offers. BTW I also chose the orange and white IVECO truck you were talking about

Anyway I have different bug:

Do someone from you use full damage option? I ask because mine have a bug in it - full damage is working in two sessions in a row (Practice/Qualifing/Super Pole/Race - anything from listed), and then in stop to work even it is still turned ON in the main options or "experience setup" directly in ETRC Championship dashboard. It is weird...

Yes, I have it on and it is working so far. I'm only in my second season though, so it might change I guess :D
