Ending questions (spoilers)

I don't understand what happened in the end. He heard the doorbell and went for the door but then the screen went black. After that he was suddenly taking his coat and probably leaving somewhere. What happened? Who was ringing the bell (or was it a phone)? Where was he going? Thank you.

Okay, I watched it on youtube and when I played I misheard that the ringing doorbell were just neighbours. But I still don't understand where he was going. He said he is going to search the guys. What guys? Where?

I think I he went to go to the roof of the building and then jump off.

I think that he maybe went out to search for the guys that he mentioned earlier. The guys with who he is going out like an old bachelor. But I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.
