Game Wont Launch [FIXED]

So the game wouldn't launch for me and I figured out why and maybe this can help someone in the future wanting to play/return to this game.
So I tried launching the game from steam and it just would not launch or come up with anything, could't find any working solutions online. So I opened the game folder from steam apps and tried launching it from there. This is where it told me that xlive.dll is missing. xlive.dll comes in the 'Games for Live' package installer.

So if you're having the same problem you just need to get GFL from this URL

Go through the installation
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Profit

Link to download is dead. Dead old game is dead.

Link is broken, I feel like Steam should be legally required to refund this game regardless of how long it's been if we can't even run it because the required file is unavailable.

EDIT: Turns out at some point they threw an xlive redistributable into the game's folder to fix this issue.
