There is the possibility that train equipment is stuck at 1% and it cannot be repaired or get used, you need to buy better equipment to solve this problem, now i cannot sell my Boxer, its greyed out and im constantly get to low pay for even contenders for my Champion, they still get most of the Money even as im an Expert Manager and they are Newbes, im constantly in debt even while i make good money sometimes, my overall pay for fights is ridiculous

You can repair 1% equipment by opening the gym screen using the button at the top.

Contender fights never make much money, even with Manager talent upgrades. Opportunity fights (with ticket sales) are where the money's at. Run Contender fights to open up the Opportunities, and then accept the Opportunities right away and use whatever Manager promotions you can afford. That should keep your finances in good shape.
