First Start the Game Crash with Fatal Error!

When starting the game for the first time after the intro, the game always terminates with Fatal Error.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Is there a way to fix it?

If you have a 10th or 11th Gen Intel processor, it could be an issue with Unreal Engine. I found this GOG article trying to fix Song of Horror, and it ended up fixing Man of Medan for me too.

Disconnect from internet and start game, not sure how long if at all you can reconnect during game though as it failed when i reconnected at the start
