Do I need two copies of the game to play together?

Does my virtual friend need to purchase a copy of the game, or will I be able to give him guest access to the game and go through it with him as it was in A Way Out?

No, it is confirmed that there will be some local multiplayer modes, but not sure all mp modes will have local version. But it will all work on one pc copy, u probably wont get guest access or second copy somehow to play mp modes with friend.

First of all, this is ridiculous hostility over nothing. Second of all he never asked if it was a way out 2, he merely compared the online aspect what a way out allowed. That is how comparisons work my man. He's not comparing the game, just a tiny aspect of it so you know what he meant.

If you and you're friend are playing online co-op on different systems then YES, you will both need to buy copies of the game.
