The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan

Statistiche:
QD or SMG: Who makes better film games ?
I would say QD because David Cage is not preachy nor filled with political correctness BS galore. In Heavy rain for an example you lie, steal, beat up, and kill to make it! And I love it because the game never tries to lecture you for your actions unlike SMG games. No wonder why Heavy Rain was such a system seller. Perhaps SMG could toughen up a bit and make tougher macho games perhaps instead for girlie games? Just a thought. Or you know create your own Madison Paige, a very pretty lady who is not scared of using her femininity sexuality or hot showers to the max, or even fighting it out with a serial killer. Just one rule: She is a good girl, so no profanity.

Yea same, but I wouldn't call Until Dawn and this game a film game, they're very story driven but they're more akin to a shorter telltale series game. They're also both horror based so it's harder to compare them to a David Cage game.
QD

Detroit Become Human alone ♥♥♥♥♥ on anything SMG has put out, in every way possible.

They are all named "interactive dramas" on wikipedia even if I prefer the words "film games" also Heavy Rain is very story driven, true however SMG makes horror while David Cage makes hard boiled thriller/detective games. True David Cage uses jump scares too but he never overdose it.

When will it be for sale ? Looking forward to it on PC.
Personally I like both, but QD 1) was there first 2) made a HUGE thing with flowcharts in Detroit and very variable plotlines starting from Heavy Rain. And SMG is more like on Indigo Prophecy level of variability, you can't really change the main root. I mean you can kill every playable character and still continue the game with QD and SMG have this plot-armor for some characters. So. Go QD! (It really would help to add some good lore-providing writer to QD, since Detroit had so much plotholes it phisically hurts).

Actually it was a woman named Roberta Williams who was co boss of Sierra who started it all in 1995 with Phantasmagoria! They were called FMV games back then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW_d04W8QWY
The game (Shining in a mansion) was so violent that it got banned in several countries! A very good game that got a good sequel, then EA moved in for the kill, thats the true horror.

So tired of these threads. You can't really compare them since they focus on different genres. They're both good at what they do in their own ways.

Wrong! SMG preaching political correctness BS all the time, thats ok with you? Get a grip.
I've seen nothing PC related in this entire discussion aside from your claim, with no evidence of course. Are you going through your political phase or something?

Then you could start by learning that PC means Personal Computer and political correctness is spelled exactly that way. You dig ?

Well I meant out of this two companies QD was earlier :steamhappy:
interesting discussion from people who "think" apple and samsung made the first cell phones. or that homeland security is a new thing (ref: germany 1933). "Youth is wasted on the young" @hardtarget01: remember "Tender Loving Care"? it was my initial reaction to these folks....thank you for the save.

That's just complete ♥♥♥♥, I've played Detroit thoroughly and while yeah, there are different, more fleshed out endings, pretty much all the sequences are the same in his games, with the exception of a new cinematic. I'm still trying to find out all the different sequences in this game and entire cinematics have been changed based on (stupid or smart) decisions and their consequences.
