can't continue shared story save

my friend and i took a break from where we left off the other night. we stopped right before you get onto the old ship. now we are coming back trying to play again and we are stopped by a screen that says "ADDITIONAL DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT CURATOR'S CUT IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THIS SAVE."

i have no idea what this is, there is no DLC anywhere on the store page. Do they really expect you to play through the main story all in one sitting?

if anyone knows anything it would be appreciated

It will be available for free later. Also. Its a bonus that u can get early for pre ordering the game

I didnt realize that they actually lock some areas for not having Currator's cut.. Since, I pre-ordered the game, I alreadly have the currator's cut... It's a free dlc where you get to play as a different character in solo mode (the one that the 2nd player would have played in shared story)... So, more areas can be explored cz u get to explore the ship as the other character...

Btw, I dont know if it works for you.. but if the 2nd player cant continue or cant enter some areas... then try to progress with 1st player... that way, the 2nd player should have progressed automatically

I believe you can ask for a refund then if the game is broken and you cant continue. If you dont want a refund just wait for a fix.

They need to release this "DLC" ASAP then. Played this for hours with my husband and we reached a point where the game freezes, but we are unable to select an earlier scene because we don't have the Curator's Cut. :(

Same! Happened to me on solo play at "Distress Call" :/

If you pre-orderd the game you get the curators cut, if the person who did pre-orderd the game starts the co-op/Movie night mode all players should be able to play the curators cut content regardless if they pre-orderd or not so make sure if one of you pre-orderd the game they make the room or you join on them.
