The scummyness depends on the game in my opinion.

For example, is it a story VN? Then I think an all-ages game should be full priced because you actually get a story even if you buy that. The porn is just bonus and should be free in that case.

But if it has no story? It is just about dating girls and having sex (if you have a patch) or hold hands if you play all-ages. Then it might as well be free. Because who will honestly want to pay for a game that has zero content and is all "This girl with boobs held your hand, the end".

Worst of all is usually when a game is adult only, and some publisher puts 30 000 dollars into making an all-ages version... and price it at half the price of the full game. If it costs more to make, then charge them more. You can't just waste money and then tell people "Since it cost us a fortune to make it all-ages, you can get it for 1 dollar".

lmao are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded the full game on other sites costs the same price as the dlc+base game together. how is it money grabbing? the full game isnt worth "15"$ thats just half the game. if you want a better understanding of what the game actually costs look at dlsite and fakku before calling them scumbags

For me it is mostly a question about content/price. I mean is there literally twice as much game in the DLC? Else it seems off-priced. Many like to make an inaccurate comparison of "Well it adds twice as many CG", which isn't the same thing. Is it twice as many music tracks, voice lines and story?

Else the proper price setting would be about 15 for game and 5 for patch. So you pay for content and not pay for all-ages people to get a discount on their content. Because I hate F2P tactics of letting others pay for leechers. Everyone should have to pay for their content equally.
