Because it has loot?
Also kinda post-apocalyptic in its own way, with third-person-shooter view going on :).
Torchlight 2 is basically a Diablo clone, fits the bill.
Grim Dawn isn't randomly generated but still decent, other such Diablo clones.
yes, much less rpg elements, but a ton of loot and much more fun than hellgate.
I'd recommend bl2 but NOT the presequel, as jump-nogravity mechanics are really annoying.
I wouldn't say BL is more fun than HGL as they both play very differently.
I love them both, BL def has better map design and is more varied than HGL, but again gameplay is much different. Depends what you are in the mood for really.
I see people have forgot about the amazing Van Helsing games. I would recommend getting the Final Cut version.
Also Vikings Wolves of Midgard is a fun game.
Sacred 1 and 2 are also amazing ARPGs everyone should own imo.
Then of course the Dungeon Siege Trilogy. DS 3 is pretty fun the older games are good but don't play quite as straight as ARPGs but are good.
Victor Vran is ok too just not a lot of loot in that game.
