Found a Solution to Launch Freeze

System: Win10 64bit
Solution:
1. Right-click on the Hellgate_sp_x86.exe > go to Properties.
2. Go to the compatibility option.
3. Check the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' box > hit Apply.

TL;DR

So I'm running Win10 64bit, and for hours (while I was trying to tweak everything) the game has been launching into a freeze of that decent looking warrior girl. Yes decent, you might hold a different opinion but I did get attracted ;P

After some research I found it might have something to do with full screen, since someone mentioned deleting settings.xml or changing the launching parameter to window (which are things you can try as well, at your own risk ofc...JKs). Out of all curiosity (when I was trying to run the game under Win XP or 7 compatibility mode), I saw that fullscreen optimizations, so I just checked that box, and hit apply. And it worked!

Yea that's basically it.

Well, it only worked once. Now i have the "can't lauch" when pressing start at the laucher with the two paladins... One more try and refund =(

Yes, u just need to directly launch the game from directory using that .exe file, the launcher doesn't work if u tweak the settings in compatibility
