Stuck in tutorial.

I just started the game and can't turn or interact with the first NPC. I can move the mouse around but cannot interact with anything. Hitting -Alt- as suggested does nothing. Game simply cannot be played. Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it?

the moving the mouse around is for clicking on the menu bar and such

to talk to npc just walk up to theù and left click on mouse

I tried to get my mouse "stuck" in the tutorial, but honestly I wasn't able to reproduce it.

Some parts of the tutorial stop your character from doing anything, because they are waiting for you to press a certain hotkey, like "I" for opening inventory or "L" for opening Quest Log. At those times, a yellow text is displayed on your screen that tells you what to do next.

PS: also, you can just press ESC and quit tutorial.

I also tried quitting the tutorial and I am still having the same problems not being able to talk to the npc and unable to move character around with the mouse . Keeps coming up with push the alt button and doesn't seem to recoqnice when you push it and the talk button is blacked out on the bar.

The "push the alt button" is a tutorial specific text. I believe don't actually have to use ALT at all to pass the tutorial. But quitting the tutorial should push you to Greenwich Station, and this message about ALT should no longer show up.

don't understand it is not acknoledgeing any kind of input at all.

The problem is the ALT Key. You have to tap it a few times to get your character to move. Once you complete the tutorial, then you won't have to worry about the ALT key. Also remember, the tutorial gives ya a buff bonus when completing it.

You also can skip the tutorial when you create a character if it gives you alot of problems.

Just logged into the game and i was able to move and talk to the npc . Thanks for the help

Got the game working yesterday got up to lvl 8 but got on today and have the same problem as yesterday and can't interact with npc. says hit alt for menu but it won't work. any idea

Just wanted to add a solution that worked for me as I had this problem. I disabled my NVidia GEforce overlay and worked fine.

I'm having the same issue on my desktop PC that uses AMD Radeon graphics, but not on my laptop that uses Intel Xe graphics. WTF is goin on with this POS game?
