Cant start game on windows 10.

When i click the shortcut, the launcher pops up for a second and dissappears. tried running as administrator also but same thing.

Anyone else having this issue?

What antivirus are you using? Maybe it's blocking the launcher or something. I haven't had any issues launching the game on the latest version of Windows 10.

Go into the game directory, go. Into bin subdirectory run hellgatex86.exe
That will always work

If your game folder is empty then that really sounds like something is being blocked. There's no other reason why the installation process should fail. The launcher doesn't actually download anything.

No issue here, im running on Windows 10. My antivirus is set at minimal defense. level 8 evoker dropping them demons like flies.

I am using Windows 10 and it runs fine.

Running windows 10 here and installed fine and game is running without any issues. Sounds like there is some conflict somewhere for some folks.

go to steam folder, steam apps, common, find Hellgate exe, right click and click on run as admin.
Worked for me

I think I found a solution. Compatibility mode and admin didn't work for me, but what did work was disabling fullscreen optimizations.
