I was having a simliar issue, except for me, the mouse was continually moving left in game. It turned out to be some kind of conflict or spurious signal from the USB controller I also had plugged in. Mouse is working fine, now that I've unplugged the controller.

This is a Windows 10 problem (introduced on Windows 10 Fall Update) that happens when you run a game on fullscreen. You can play in a borderless window or try this workaround (for playing in fullscreen):

Go to the game's folder > right-click Hellgate.exe > click Properties> go to Compatibility tab > check the option "Disable fullscreen optimizations".

This jumping mouse issue happens with some old games on Windows 10, so remember to do this workaround on a game that has this problem.

i have the same problem, and i tried your solution, changed the fullscreen optimizations and tried borderless windowed and plain windowed to no avail, i even shifted it to windows vista compatibility and still no luck

i know its been mentioned before, but i would like to see the severe freezing/lagging issue fixed. game will run flawless for (averaging about 15 mins) 10-30 mins, then it just starts to chug and freeze for a good (longest time it occured was over 5 mins) 1~5 mins. tried turning off V-sync, but still occurs. i think this should be fixed ASAP. thanks!

i have a problem with the new rider units,
every time i kill 1 my game freezes until the death animation is done..
sometime thit can take up to 8 mineutes.
i can not contineu the can in this terible state.
i love the game hate the bugs!

I've got one that has been mentioned a few times.
Sometimes, the game randomly un-equips stuff and doesn't let me re-equip them until I shut it down and restart. At first, it did it with both my guns, and now it started doing that with my gloves. This last time, it didn't just un-equip my gloves, it deleted it too. It was a good set of gloves too.

Just had this problem with my pants, they still show on my char but none in the slot also wont let me equip new ones.

People having the freeze/fps drop issues, please describe precisely when it happen and what spec your PC have (cpu, gpu, and OS) so they can at least find a pattern...
LOTS of people can play the game really fine with crappy GPUs so it's not a global issue they'll be able to fix out of thin air, they'll need really more info about that.

Just trying to help of course, they really do need the precisions.

Your equipment is not gone. You simply have to go back to the main menu and load your savegame again. It's a minor flaw in my opinion.
The random freezes are way more of an issue.

Wrong. It is a global issue cuz the game use only one CPU core - no matter what kind of system you have.

I keep having a problem where I cannot interact with the game, it becomes impossible to turn or interact with anything. The mouse is usable, but I cannot select anthing. It keeps telling me to press alt, but that button does nothing. Sometimes when I start the game it works fine, but it periodically goes into this state and becomes unplayable.

Bug with the stuff to take off mods from weapons : it's not the mod selected that is remove but the mod wich is the most on the left, and it go from left to right, 1 by 1

Plus, it's TERRIBLY BORRING to have the crapy Global system where the mod can be lost, and don't have the stuff to remove safely !!!
So, go back to hellgate london : all mods are remove at once, and mods can't be destroy, or and the crapy pay to win stuff in palladium to not loose mods
And same for the augmentrex and the nanoforge, put all the stuff to make safely at the vendor.

anyone else getting big random lag spikes? happens when there are alot of enemies dying, happens alot is sewer areas

If you abandon a quest (act 1 british museum in this case) then the quest giver does not give you the quest again.

I had to abandon it because the portal to the mother despawned and the boss that normally spawns it would not stop being a statue so i couldn't kill it, no portal to advance the quest, nada.

E: Ok false alarm. The quest does reset but it's given in the museum itself. Weird but it's not broken at least.

When I fire up the game, I encounter a bug that prevents the mouse cursor from dissappearing even when the alt key isn't being pressed. Due to this, I cannot turn my character around.
