Killing Ahmon as a Guardian

Who's been successful? I can't seem to kill the healing totems fast enough to keep him from getting back to near full health.

To my knowledge, there's no real sure-fire way to keep him ignited/poisoned for the entire fight either.

yes
many times i used posion/fire weapon still can't defeat ahmon
so i give up, in my opinion
try another class is the best way for keep your mind lol

Hopefully this thread isn't closed. I've been looking for information on how to kill Ahmon with my guardian. I just finished killing him. What worked for me was poison to prevent or slow the healing. Shock on Ahmon stops him using a skill. I used Shield Turn on the totems and Shield Bash on Ahmon as often as possible. When he was either stunned or shocked alternated Sword of Reckoning with the Shield skills. Wasn't easy and I did die twice. What killed me was that Fire AOE . But in the end I got him. Hope this helps. I wouldn't recommend using Fire on him. He's all about fire, even has a Fire totem.
