DEVS: Can you add a DX10 or DX11 patch?

Why?
For a minimal effect and to cause yet more problems. I don't think so.

you're the first person i ever seen who disagreed with this request/feature.

I play DX10 in hellgate london the older version without any issues. sounds like you need to upgrade your computer or something.

It’s not gonna happen. They butchered the game engine and they probably aren’t smart enough to know how to fix what they have let alone add something new(to them)

You can try:
Documents\My Games\Hellgate
Open launcher.ini and set
dx10=1
then go to settings, open settings .xml with text editor and set
<SHDR>9_veryhigh</SHDR>
to
<SHDR>10_veryhigh</SHDR>

As far as i can tell this forces at the very least legacy DX10 mode.

How about they fix the 1 FPS glitch first. :special: Seems like a priority. I dunno if the mute devs agree, though.

I suggest you have a look at the original version of Hellgate: London from Flagship Studios before stating others have no idea of what they are talking about. It looked and still looks much better than the Hanbit version here in Steam, that has the DX10 features mostly cut out.

Actually he does. I play the DX10 Hellgate: London as well. I runs and looks much better. It was a big improvement.

The DX 9 version of OG HGL runs just fine too. The Hanbit version of the game was just plain broken by them. None of this has anything to do with the version of DX or 32/64 bit. They just crapped all over Flagships code for whatever reason they did it.

I own the original game.
Could never get it to run on Win 10

The DX 10 is a minimum improvement,nothing more.
I'm not slating anyone.

It was assumed I have a crap system and I do not.So wind your necks in and leave me alone thank you.

We were just correcting you. I run on Windows 10 without problems. DX10 is a big improvement.

I use windows 10 enterprise latest edition 2019, runs just fine max at 1080p. What is your system specs? Just curious. It does look much better in dx10 though, i just think they could have upgraded the game in dx10 and they could if they wanted, but again, i doubt it will happen.

For those on the fence I would suggest to Google the dx9 vers dx10
Arguments, improvement yes massively? No.
God, there is enough issues with this version without adding more problems to it lol.
