No. Although id really love to see coop.
However i dont see how this will work since you and your friend would have a different skill level. And most multiplayer functions were relying on dedicated servers. So just to add coop that work as p2p (like payday 2/gta v), it would require them to replace netcode for this mode.

I guess you're unaware this is a release of a old game. which was 1000000% muilitplayer. they removed it fro thiss version.

Don't listen to anyone that says that they won't. They don't know for sure that they won't. It is however less likely they will but I am going to remain hopefull for player hosted co-op or a way we can host our own servers. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult for them to alter some code to allow for players to host their own servers. Would be easier than creating player hosted co-op.

the game is abandoned. they don't even fix known bugs, remove mmo menus nor we have a precise date for tokyo. the game already was shutdown twice.
There will not be any mp, and nobody/nowhere mentioned it anywhere.

I've played every verison of this game, both official and unofficial, since it was first released. This version is not multiplayer. The multiplayer version of this game has failed twice. They aren't going to do it again. Use your head.

Of course they will not. Why bother tuning and rewriting the game to be a single player when they could have rebooted Hellgate Global but chose not to? Multiplayer has failed time and time again - for good reasons.

You don't know what the devs are going to do. You have zero authority to say for 100% certainty that they won't do this or that.

Even if the chance is small they could add multiplayer in some form. Time will tell and until the dev comes straight out and says there is zero chance for it then I will have some small hope.
