I think each map has a certain lifespan in that you can leave an unfinished map for a little while and come back a short time later but they are different after say - a restart of the game. Certainly you need to uncover the fog of war every visit.
They are the same style each time but I can't say I have noticed them being the same. I did wonder about ones like techsmith 314's mind but that's a quest one. Also London bridge descent and probably a few other smaller ones.
They are always going to look reasonably similar in that they are built out of sections/areas that are just whacked together in different combinations. Like London bridge access is always going to end with the bridge and tower part but the approach is random. Isn't it ?
Gotta admit it's now something I am going to pay more attention to but I really thought they were random each time. I do see in my save file lists of many maps. Does the game in fact save and reuse the same layout each time.
