Just started playing London 2038

Having the multiplayer function and no FPS bug is a huge upgrade from this version. It absolutely blows my mind how this got released on Steam at its current state.

Agree... Only wanted this version for toyko, which they've excluded for now. Wouldn't mind the messenger of hell in our version to!

The original also looks much better. Like "mind blown" how much better it looks. I hadn't installed it for ages, and now when I did, I realised how much Global version was downgraded graphics wise. And they tell us to lower from THAT if we have the 1 fps-bug. Lol. Also playing original first time in years made me realise how much questionable changes Hanbitsoft made to the game play and mob behaviour so they could change the game into a proper Korean grinder.

Well. I prefer Global over Classic Hellgate, but the lack of items, bugs, no multiplayer, lesser perfomance is just meh in this version. How did they dare to not release a quick fix???

London 2038 has some kind of bugs too, so it isn't perfect either. I like there are more items to look for. This hellgate has no itemization. Global has better spells to work tho.

Joined 2038 server last evening. Looks better, plays smoother, AND shared stash! Other perks as well, but I think my point is clear. I know where I will be playing. Oh...multiplayer of course!

You won't be playing there for too long if Hanbitsoft decides to send them a cease and desist order.

Also private servers don't tend to remain around all that long anyway. You might get 5 years max but again Hanbitsoft can shut them down at any moment.

I would rather Hanbitsoft figure out a way to add player hosted co op. No worry then about server shut Downs etc.

You can still buy the boxed CDs on Amazon and Ebay. Amazon preferred, since you have a better chance of NOT getting ripped off.

I can't understand why people keep posting about 2038. Those who run it don't have the legal right(s) to, so Handisoft can shut them down at any time.

As long as you guys remember, playing 2038 will result character wipe at some point (i don't mean server getting shut down), so don't get all mad if you didn't research this beforehand.

I don't believe for a minute that Hanbi will be adding anything at all. As to how long the private server lasts, I don't care...for the moment it's a far better experience. Simply avoiding the ugly character faces, cartoonish, anime, whatever, is a win for me.

Yup and your precious characters will go bye bye when they shut down 2038. I'll stick with SP where I will always be able to return no matter what. I know it's a far shot that they would add co-op but I am hoping anyway.

At the very least they need to fix the FPS bugs I think we all can agree on that.

Been there and lost that , Not only the $$ I invested in the last server that wen down . This time I am glad to be able to play the game and keep my stats.

I have the original but prefer this , I have only had a couple of slow downs nothing that bad.

Played for over 73 hours , Over level 50 and having alot of fun.

If you dont like the steam version , then dont buy it - Very simple.

The game just feels lonely as single player. I don't have the fps issue, but I don't much care for the character models as I stated before. For me, the chat chatter and seeing other players in the stations is a major mood booster.
