Think of it as an american company licensing an asian company's game, they have seperate user base and even game version.... For this game, the reverse happened. Korean company bought the IP( Basically dead at that time, just for their market) from a western company.
Now their mtx market dried up, they decide to release it globally on steam as a single player game as a final cash grab. So, don't expect much of any future content updates..
