Eisberg is wrong.

This steam release is Hellgate Global (Hellgate Tokyo 2.0). Hellgate: London was accuired by a Korean company and was reworked into a F2P cash shop MMO. Everything was reworked and rebalanced to be focused on microtransactions. It is not the Flagship Studios version.

So yes it is the meh version that came out after Flagship sunk.

Except for the fact there is no microtransactions in this game, and all the premium stuff is included in the game, so I am not wrong at all. Like I said, it is the Flagship game with the stonehenge and Tokyo stuff as well, hence I am not wrong on that either.

You are making stuff up. There is no truth to what you are saying. We know for a fact that this is the Hellgate: Tokyo 2.0 client. It is not the Flagship game. Stop spouting nonsense.

You are being pedantic. When you refer to the Flagship product you refer to the original release. After that it was no longer owned by or developed by Flagship so calling it a Flagship product is moronic. It became a Korean cash shop F2P MMO. Hellgate: Tokyo 2.0 is what is being released on steam and it is not by Flagship.

When someone asks if the game is Hellgate: London released by Flagship Studios or "that meh version that came out after flagship sunk" and you tell them it is Hellgate: London by Flagship Studios you are spreading misinformation. You are not answering his question.

You did not answer his question. You are a confused person who is not helpful.

Except I literally told him it is Hellgate London with the Stonehenge and Tokyo expansions, which are 100% factual. It being a microtransaction game in the past is irrelevenat since what they are releasing is not a microtransaction game, since there is not going to be in app purchases at all.
I just copied this from Polygon "Hanbitsoft, the game’s publisher, says that “with the support of many fans” it’s now able to offer Hellgate: London — or, more accurately, the single-player mode of Hellgate: Tokyo’s version 2.0."

Can somebody who is familiar with both versions be so kind and actually list the exact differences between Hellgate London and Hellgate Global? Which version is considered superior and why? Thanks.

Well, that didn't really answer my question. I thought there were also major balancing and graphical/color changes, so I wanted to know whether these were a degradation over the original HGL.
They also removed a lot of flavor content, concentrating only on the missions & action. So I'm really curious too. I miss the crazy scientist guy who shouted a lot. ;_;

You never answer questions right. I still doubt you've actually played the original version or much of Global. You are so dedicated to spreading lies about this steam version. Your claim that this steam version will be better than the original version is unbelievable. Your lies only work for new people. Those of us who played Global and have played and continue to play the original know better.

This is not a better verison. Not at all. Global was fine for a F2P MMO cash shop game but it was reworked and made worsed compared to the original. Everything from graphics to gameplay elements were changed up and weakened. This steam version will be same junk we saw in Global except worse because it won't be online.

EDIT: Yes Duchess is right. They stripped out and simplified the story a lot for no good reason.

News release supports Eisberg.

Indeed it does. He is still wrong about claiming this is the Flagship version of the game, but I am very happy that he is right about microtransactions.

You are right in that it isnt the flagship version, but it is however the singleplayer component, which did retain a lot of the original hellgate london content.
