Not loading

Before I refund this I thought I'd check here for any other suggestions. When I start the game as is with Windows 10 I see a quick flash on the screen and then nothing further. I tried it in different compatibility modes and anything over Vista did the same thing. Vista and XP bring up the initial window and I click start and then it just hangs with the blue spinning circle. I found a post about settings and running in Windowed mode. I copied the file over and set that to 1 in the mentioned folder and the same thing is happening.

Any other thoughts on what to try?

Try this:
Delete the "settings.xml" at "C:\Users\<User Name>\Documents\My Games\Hellgate\Settings\"
(On Windows 7)
The game at next launch will create a new file.

No luck there. I just tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling also to see if that did anything.

yeah so...did it something ? got the same problem here...
there isnt any folder at that mentioned location.

After putting a about 4-5 hours of trying everything I could think of and researching and trying a few others I found here in the discussion area I had no luck and sadly had to give up before I ran out of time on refunding. It is disappointing as I remember back when it first released I had a lot of fun so was hoping to try playing again.

Since Hellgate London is a old type of game, have you tried Compat Mode, like Windows 7 or equivalent to that. I read if you did that and you use Windows 10, it should work. Try that and see if it works.

For me i did this.. that doesn't work.

Use compatibility settings. I had to drop to XP service Pack 3 to get it working.
