How to make Pandemic custom server

Welcome to a server step guide on how to make your own server.
(WARNING: You will need to port forward and need to have a static ip, if you don't feel comfortable for opening port so people can play, don't do it, and if you don't have a static ip, tell me and i will help you with that as well) To check: https://pattersonsupport.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10572/~/determine-ip-address-and-static-or-dynamic
(Also, you will need to make sure on if you ip is not just a bunch of random numbers, if it is, I will help fix it)


Step 1: Right click on pandemic and click on property's.

Step 2: Go to beta, click on select beta and chose custom maps, and wait for it to download

Step 3: When download it done, go to property's again, but click on local file and click on browse local file

Step 4: Now make a Folder on you desktop, call it pandemic server or something, and drag all the files in the pandemic files to your new desktop files

Step 5: When that's done, go back to pandemic property's on steam, beta, and click on none, this will redownload the game

Step 6: Assuming you have a static ip, and no random numbers in you ip (If you do, dm me) Open you new desktop file and find dedicated, open in it in something like notepad

Scroll all the way down till you see this

Step 7: You will see --g_custom_server_ip = , remove the two back of the lines, copy and paste your ip on it, make sure you have space on "ip = Your ip", then click file and save and close it (ps. you might want to remove the password)

Step 8: Now with the port forword stuff, you want to go to google and type in your router ip, typically it would be 192.168.1.254 (If not, try to find your admin login or use this site to read how to)

Step 9: (Remember, it will be DIFFRENT FOR EVERYONE) Go to your firewall and fine something of port forward or nat/gaming

9.5 step: If it ask for a Device Access Code, get it off the back of your router

10: Click on custom service, Name service name pandemic express the ports are 2810-2990, no base host, and make sure protocol is TCP/UPD

Click on add, then go back
Now go and fine Pandemic express on server and on needed by device, you can fine out by doing the cmd and ipconfig/all at the top of the link, it would be ipv4 address

Step 11: When thats all done, go to your pandemic server and click on the Runserverpurgatorium, Cw is cable cart

And congrats you now have a server in pandemic. Make sure to Follow the guide. I no longer play much Pandemic. (Edit: I no longer play the game much and can't help you.

I asked this on behalf of a friend. I think that it is either a poorly integrated perma-ban, or they lost his authorization token. The game is so dead, though. Do not bother

Yes. The game is very dead. In the last 30 days, the average player count was 3,5.

Hey man, is it possible to host a Pandemic Express server using one of the paid game server sites, or is this the only way? Just wanted to ask. Tempted to throw up and host a server for folks to use!
