Forklift Simulator 2019

Seriously! A driving style game with no wheel support?
Pricey for a game in EA and in this genre, but I might have gone for it if it worked with a wheel and pedals, but no support. Surprised. Sorry, no purchase from me.

It was just added today, so I'm wondering a few things about the interface as well; does it support motion controllers for VR in order to use the levers for the lift?

I wanted to know if you can use motion controlers to pull levers ect. I'm only intrested in this if it is a sim like. The lack of wheel support is a worry

Hey all,

We are currently working on adding VR motion controller and wheel/pedal support. We'll let you all know when that update is on it's way.

Keep the feedback coming!

No wheel, no buy.

If this is going to be authentic and realistic, you might want to consider allowing some Logitech or similar peripherals to control the levers etc. Perhaps the Logitech pro aircraft throttle stick would work well. If it can teach someone to really drive, or practice driving a Fork Lift Truck then the cost of the peripheral would be justifiable. Glad to hear you are going to support wheels and pedals.

A bit late to the thread, but if I may add to this: allow the ability to map multiple joysticks.

For example, I have a Logitech G920. I also wish to add two joysticks and perhaps a farming sim control panel, so that I can use the sticks and switches for more realistic logging operations, etc. I'd like to also be able to tie joysticks to the different controls in this game, but still use the wheel to drive. Perhaps even use the H-Gate shifter on the Logitech wheel to actually shift between forward and reverse gears.

Hey all,

Today's update added our first pass at support for wheel and other peripherals. You need to run the game outside of steam to get your wheels working though. Here's how you do that:

- In the Steam Library View Right Click on Forklift Simulator 2019
- Select Properties
- Click the Local Files tab
- Click Browse Local Files...
- Run the shortcut based on the mode you want (standard or VR)
- Forklift Simulator 2019
- Forklift Simulator 2019 - VR
- Your wheel or other peripherals "should work"*

*We haven't tested every peripheral and we could use your help. If you've done the steps above and your peripheral isn't working let us know.
You can post in these forums or send us and email FLS2019@BlindSquirrelGames.com

We'll be out of the office for the holidays. We return January 7th and will hopefully have a better implementation for peripheral support in our next update on January 10th. I.E. you should be able to run the game through steam.

We are still working on a full control customization screen. Look for that early next year.

Happy Holidays!

- Forklift 2019 Team
