it could be nice addition only in the easy mode, maybe can keep in off on the hard mode
Exactly, even dark souls with its big difficulty, is fair, crisis vrigade isnt.
If you will not do this then you might as well just change the name of play mode because having it called rookie is nonsense. It should be called, "excessively difficult because we don't want to you finish it because we haven't gotten to level 2 yet...mode." And then the higher difficulty mode can just start with you being thrown off the roof to your death.
Are you really that opposed to people playing this game casually for fun? I just don't understand the "master it or go away" mentality.
From what i understood on a earlier comment the difficulty is there because there isnt a lot of levels, so the ones that are there are hard levels used as a hurdle to make the game seem longer i think.
Anyways id preffer to play the game and finish it casually in 15 minutes and have a good time, than grind and achieve nothing other than maybe advance in 1 or 2 stages for half an hour.
Yes that's what the dev said above in response to my comment, and I told him/her how asinine I think that logic is. I really just want to know if they intend to always keep it this way. If so I might as well just uninstall this game. I hope another gave developer does something similar because its the kind of game that translates well to VR.
I'm sorry. That is not the spirit of this game. We are working on adjusting the difficulty at this moment, but it will always be a challenge.
Sorry if I'm a bit late on this, but I actually feel that the difficulty is quite messed up but headed in a positive. The first mission is stupidly difficult, with hostages, bombs, AI taking too long to peak, etc.
In the second mission, though, I found it much more challenging with increased numbers, but more simple to get through with no looming threats besides possible RPGS and a crap-ton more shooters in unexpected angles. Yes, It was difficult, but I found it much more fast-paced as a beginner-like level rather than the bank heist.
It would be nice if we had positions with more reliable cover for certain stages in the bank, but overall It was something that I could appreciate. The concrete wall provided good cover, but the AI seemed to be able to shoot me through the desk, when I was unable to hit them back.
Liked someone mentioned- two-handed shooting definetally made it more realistic and balanced, but there's just an overall difficulty spike that appears between the two levels.
