On my second playthrough (to complete the remaining achievements) I went used the "examine action" on every single ocassion - I know for a fact I missed the one mentioned by D4RK_H4LO on my first playthrough.
But even then, it didn't pop. After finishing the game with "Survivor" and "Avoid Pain", I completed the "dully noted" achievement.
I then decided to give "Chatty Passenger" another try, so I reloaded the specific chapter from the menu and the achievement popped as soon as the chapter loaded.
So, if you have problems with this achievement not unlocking, try triggering all the "examine" sections, finish the game and then select "continue" from the main menu and reload the last chapter in the attic.
No matter how much I wander around, I can't get any new dialogue to pop. Very frustrating.
It's worth noting that I've been on the table before on several occasions, but from what I noticed, it sometimes takes a while for the "examine" option to appear. I moved a few pixels on the place until the option appeared. Also, I'd already examined that window before, but without the rabbit with me, so you have to repeat all the dialogues with the rabbit on your back.
Another dialogues I struggled to find again was the one from the right ladder on attic, the fridge one (when you have the kitchen drawers open they could overlap), and the one from the main door.
If my comment is too late I hope it helps someone in the future.
