Kill all the beggars!

Did anyone play the quest and tried to kill all the beggars? Is there a possibility to play it that way?

I finished the quest when I played the game first time by helping all the beggars. I was helping the beggars and ended up on that Island of Abandoned ships.

Is that the only way to play the quest?

If you kill them all, you will actually receive the 1,000,000 by talking to the moneylender after you get the log update that you are done. That's it. You will not play the Abandoned Ships part of the quest if you kill them all.

No, I've never done it, nor have I actually read/heard about anyone doing it that way. But, I am a developer for a version of this game over at buccaneersreef.com, so I just researched the program scripts in order to answer your question (I occasionally lurk this forum for things I can address). The scripts show that if all the beggars are killed, you should get a quest log book notification and the money offered by Oliver will become available at the money lender.

FYI, there are 17 entries in the "kill list" so that is how many you need to find. So there are a few towns that don't have a beggar.

hai guys, its little bit late, can we use F11? it is safe to use F11 on steam or not? i played this game aroudn 2010 and i wanna play this game again, also can we change our first ship? if can how to do it?
