1. Since nmlgc left the organization a few days ago, thpatch is out of a developer who could take care of cracking the steam DRM and make thcrap compatible with th143 and th15.
2. Even if we could crack it, we're still debating wether we should keep supporting the steam versions.
Fact is, at the moment th143 and th15 are incompatible with thcrap.
Imagine passive aggressively encouraging people to pirate the games you base your very work around and looking down on people that buy the official games. The insane double standard is almost unthinkable.
It sucks for your very important work to go unappreciated for the wide portion of the community but for the love of god, get off your horse and mellow for a bit.
Have you ever messaged the reddit moderators and simply thought about making a reddit post politely (without the condescending tone) explaining the situation and asking for a crowdfund? Your storefront on Discord is not given any attention by the majority of the community given it's hidden in a niche discord.
Given the importance of thcrap and your development, I'd imagine they would offer your post a pin which would allow more of the community to understand the situation and potentially donate if the pros of it were, for example, to be a working patch for a steam version.
I'm not sure you're aware, but Steam is not actually the only way you can buy these games.
I am fully aware - however no one wants to go through the hoops of either having to give money to some random on a forum or paying essentially 60% extra due to shipping and fees for a physical copy.
However this discussion is not relevant anymore given thcrap supports it now, so hooray.
